Speaking of friends...

Israel and the US should keep our unique friendship in mind, in the time leading up to Obama's visit here.

I was with Mike Huckabee, true friend to Israel, at the Prime Minister's office yesterday. He continues to bring busloads of visitors to learn the Land and speak out for Israel - thank you and to those who make it happen, like Tisha!

And now back to working on the pundits, hopefully to get the message out that we are in control of our own destiny. While we welcome friends and political leaders to the area, we will stress our independence and self-sufficiency.

Shabbat shalom!

The Big Cheese

So President Obama's coming to town. Whoo hoo!
What does that mean?

For the pundits, lots to write about and conjecture.

For Jerusalemites, more traffic jams and blocked streets.

For Israelis, some nail-biting and anticipation; for others, no change in routine at all.

And for our politicians, a challenge that will be planned in the next few days.

For Zionists all over the world - You have a chance to make it clear that Israel has the right to make our own decisions. And to have our allies stand by us.

We love Israel. Let's tell our leaders and share the message with our friends, too.
